Branch Manager
Call Center Specialist
Member Service Reps/Tellers


Branch Manager
The Branch Manager will:

  • Make regular business development calls to solicit new business or improve service to existing members. Recommend new business strategies and products and services to attract new clients.
  • Ensure that the branch is open and ready to conduct business each business day.  Delegate operational duties to the Assistant Branch Manager as appropriate, but assume overall administrative responsibility for operating the branch.
  • Supervise, direct and control the activities of the branch.  Ensure a trained, motivated and professional staff capable of providing efficient and effective branch services to the Credit Union's members.  Interview, schedule, train, assign work, establish performance expectations and monitor results.
  • Ensure that the branch is in compliance and that prescribed security controls are maintained. May conduct surprise audits.
  • Interview members, gather required information and make recommendations to lending department.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school.
  • 2-5 years progressively responsible experience in financial institution branch operations.
  • Business development experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Positive credit standing

Call Center Specialist
The Call Center Specialist will:

  • Repsond to member requests, process transactions and address complaints.
  • Perform a variety of administrative support duties including document retention, branch daily work, loan documents, securities and car/title insurance, etc.
  • Process incoming mail to include sorting, distribution and posting of member transactions.
  • Monitor new account opening report for error correction and mailing of new member kits.
  • Perform other Virtual Branch, Operations and administrative duties as assigned by the Virtual Branch Manager including rotating to other service centers as requested.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • A high school education or GED.
  • Two to five years of similar or related experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong business development and/or sales skills
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written

Member Service Representatives/Tellers
The Member Service Representative will:

  • Process all transactions for members, in person or via telephone including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cash advances and transfers. Disburse money orders, travelers and cashier checks. Balance each day’s transactions and verify cash totals. Receive checks and cash for deposit in savings and checking accounts, verify deposit amounts, examine checks for endorsement and negotiability, and receipt transactions via on-line teller terminal.
  • Give prompt, efficient and accurate service in the processing of all transactions such as opening of new checking/savings accounts, direct deposits, ATM cards, CD/IRA/Money Markets.
  • Open new member accounts and provide information to new and prospective members by explaining and cross-selling Credit Union products and services.
  • Interview loan applicants, gathering the required information for a credit application explaining loan options, rates, terms and collateral requirements. Evaluate and discuss loan alternatives with members. Present loan product options.
  • Process and disburse all loan requests. Follow-up on pending loan applications.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • A high school education or GED.
  • Six months to two years of similar or related experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong business development and/or sales skills
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
