We pride ourselves on being a credit union that you can trust. All of our accounts are federally insured through the National Credit Union Association (NCUA), so you can have peace of mind knowing that your money is safe. The NCUA's National Share Insurance Fund protects your share deposits up to at least $100,000. IRA deposits are insured separately to an additional $250,000. Online Security
Your online security is important to us. We want you to feel secure when banking at home as you would at one of our branches. In order to protect your information, we use software programs to monitor network traffic in order to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or to otherwise cause damage.

Security information regarding our online applications
All online applications on the Lafayette Federal Credit Union website are secure. All LFCU applications are secured using 128bit SSL security (highest level of security available). Your browser will not be able to view any LFCU application unless it has established an encrypted connection with our server.
