NEGRO LEAGUE EAST/WEST VINTAGE BASEBALL GAME CELEBRATION OF 1933
The Negro League Legends Hall of Fame, Inc, Annual East/West all-stars vintage baseball game played in throw back uniforms, saluting the creation of the Negro League East-West All-Star game announced July 29, 1933 and played September 10 in Comiskey Park, Chicago, IL. 1933. Gus Greenlee is recognized in a collaboration with Robert A. Cole of the Chicago American Giants of bringing the game to fruition, the idea came from one of Green’s employees Roy Sparrow in 1932. The game featured the best ball players in the league that was selected, fan-voting conducted by newspapers the Chicago Defender and Pittsburgh Courier. Fans mailed in their ballots with results of Oscar Charleston, Pittsburgh Crawfords (East) and Willie Foster, Chicago American Giants (West) leading the selections, over 1 million votes casted.
Gus was also the founder of the 2nd Negro National League in 1933.

AUTO SHOW CASE BENEFIT 10th ANNIVERSARY
Our theme for this year 2026 we are celebrating the “Women of the Negro Leagues” over 13 not only as players but management and ownership, the research will be shared by our team of historian Phil S Dixon and researcher Will Clark during our NLLHOF celebration the last week in August 2026.
In 2021 we saluted Toni Stone (Marcenia Lyle Stone) who played for the Indianapolis Clowns 1953, and also played for the San Francisco Lions, the New Orleans Creoles and the Kansas City Monarchs the first women recognized to join the Negro Leagues.
During 2022 we saluted Minnie Forbes celebrating her 94th birthday this year May 11th, 2026, who in 1956 – 1958 took over ownership of the Negro League team the Detroit Stars from her uncle Ted Rasberry and she also played 3rd base for the Kansas City Monarchs in 1958.
