How does Lafayette Federal collect my personal information?

Affiliates

Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies.

  • We will partner only with businesses that follow strict confidentiality requirements.

Nonaffiliates

Non-affiliates may include: insurance companies, direct marketing companies, credit card networks.

Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies.

  • We may disclose non-public personal information about our members and former members to non-affiliated third parties as permitted by law.

Joint Marketing

Joint marketing partners may include investment services, insurance, or credit card networks.

A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.

  • We have a contractual relationship that prohibit the third party from disclosing or using the information of our agreement.

Internet Privacy Policy

Information Collected and Stored Automatically

For site security purposes and to ensure that this service remains available to all users, we employ software programs to monitor network traffic to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage.

For site management, information may be collected for statistical purposes. Computer software programs may be used to create summary statistics, which are used for such purposes as assessing what information is of most and least interest, determining technical design specifications, and identifying system performance or problem areas. No personal information, such as your name or address, is collected or used for this analysis. We collect no information which would identify you personally.

Information Collected from Emails and Web Forms

When you send us personally identifying information, for example, in an electronic mail message containing a question or comment or by filling out a form or application that emails us this information, we use this information to fulfill or respond to your requests. We may store these requests to support the application process. We may forward your email to staff who are better able to respond to your request. We do not create individual profiles with the information you provide.

Information Collected While Using the Application

When using our application, to provide features of our application, we may collect, with your permission:

  • Location Information: If you use our mobile banking application on your mobile device, we may collect and process information about your actual location. We use this opt-in data to provide relevant messaging, even when the app is not open on your screen, to tailor our products and services for you, and to occasionally offer you promotions of interest. You can enable or disable access to this information at any time, through your device settings.
  • Pictures and or other information from your device’s camera and photo library.

We use this information to provide features of our service, to improve and customize our service. The information may be uploaded to the company’s servers and/or service providers or it may simply be stored on your device.
