Donald (Don) Springer brings extensive commercial lending experience to Lafayette Federal Credit Union, with expertise in owner-occupied and investment real estate financing, commercial and industrial (C&I) lending, and SBA-backed loan programs. Throughout his career, he has helped businesses secure the financing they need to support growth, expansion, and long-term success. Known for his analytical approach and sound credit judgment, Donald has built a reputation for finding thoughtful lending solutions while balancing the needs of each business with sounds credit practices.

As Principal Vice President & Commercial Loan Officer, Donald oversees both the growth and day-to-day management of Lafayette Federal’s commercial lending activities. He works closely with business owners, referral partners, and internal teams throughout the lending process, from origination and underwriting to closing and ongoing servicing. His hands-on approach keeps the process moving smoothly and ensures each business receives a solution tailored to its needs and goals.
