How long do debit cards last?

Debit cards typically expire every two to three years. When your debit card is close to expiring, Lafayette Federal will automatically send you a new one about a month before expiration. This is one of the reasons why it’s important to have your current address on file with your financial institution. If you would like a new card before it expires, you may request one by phone.
