I may be one of the longest active members of LFCU (54 years). I retired from USAID in 1998. That was my first job after leaving the US Army in 1966. Like most young recently married couples, we needed to establish credit. As many may know the Credit Union was in the old State Department during my early years with USAID. Doing business with the LFCU was just like a big family. Just great!!! I would walk in and they knew me by name and account number. I now live in NC and still bank with them. Over the years I have financed several homes and cars. As I write this story, I have a car loan with LFCU today. I am a credit union member for life!
I have been in the mortgage banking industry for 9 years, where I am currently a Mortgage Loan Officer with Lafayette Federal Credit Union in Rockville, MD. Prior to Lafayette Federal, I was a Loan Officer and Effectiveness Coach with USAA Mortgage, where I was a subject matter expert that provided training and coaching to loan officers and new hires.
I am passionate about my career, and am especially skilled at helping you get into your dream home — whether it is your first, second, vacation or retirement home. I will be your partner throughout the process, always available to answer your questions and provide insightful information on purchasing or refinancing a home. Working closely with you, I will make the best recommendations for your unique needs. At Lafayette Federal, we have you covered with a variety of banking and borrowing products, including mortgages, home equity loans, and first time homebuyer programs, with loans up to $3 million, excellent rates, and financing available in all 50 states.
Expert in the Frederick, MD and surrounding locations, my husband, Louis, and I live in the area, along with our black lab Roxy and our mini Dachshund Paige. I cherish spending time with family, including my four grown children and grandchildren. In my spare time, I enjoy home decorating, relaxing at the beach, bike riding along the C&O Canal, and participating in local winery tours.
