Event Description:
Lafayette Federal is proud to sponsor and participate in the Negro League Legends Hall of Fame Annual Celebration—a day honoring the history, legacy, and impact of the Negro Leagues in American baseball.
The highlight of the event is the East/West All-Stars Vintage Baseball Game, where players take the field in authentic throwback uniforms to recreate the historic East-West Classic first played in 1933. This cherished tradition pays tribute to baseball pioneers like Gus Greenlee, who helped bring the original game to life, and celebrates the stories that shaped the game and our nation.
This family-friendly event offers more than just baseball. Attendees can also enjoy the 9th Annual Auto Showcase Benefit, featuring classic cars, community fellowship, and a chance to support educational outreach initiatives. Admission is free with a complimentary ticket, and parking is also free.
